This 100% fine rayon cotton chenille dyed yarn is perfect for a lightweight and drapey scarf, cowl (sample below), sweater, wrap or throw – machine knit or used as a weft in weaving. It is a flat chenille yarn and we did not find issues when working with it on our knitting machine although care must be used with tension. This rayon chenille knits up into a soft velvety fabric that’s ideal for close to the skin contact and children. We do not recommend this yarn for a warp as this yarn is quite fragile. You will experience broken ends as you wind off as this cannot be helped in the dyeing process of this fine yarn.
